Rob Wolter
Part-Time Assistant Men's Volleyball Coach

Rob Wolter begins his third year as a part-time assistant coach in 2012. Born in Bangkok, Thailand, and part of a military family, Wolter attended high school in Ogden, Utah. He graduated from the University of Minnesota-Mankato in 2000 with a bachelor’s in physical education. While at Minnesota-Mankato, Wolter was a decathlete on the track and field team and a member of the club volleyball squad.

In 2002, he served as an assistant women’s volleyball coach at South Dakota State University. From 2003 to 2007, Wolter was an assistant coach at Wisconsin-Parkside before being elevated to interim head coach for the 2008-09 season. His volleyball coaching background also includes a two-year stint with the USA High Performance team in Wisconsin. In addition to assisting with the Carthage men’s team, Wolter just completed his first year as a part-time assistant coach with the Carthage women’s volleyball team in 2010. He received his master’s in education from Carthage in 2010.
